Antisemitic, homophobic and sexist Tory council candidate George C Stoakley has been suspended by the Conservative Party, according to Skwawkbox.

Some of you might remember that this happened to me, right before the council elections last year (although the allegations against me were false). I remained a candidate, as an independent, and people voted for me – although not enough of them for me to take the seat.

I wonder how many people will vote for this proven racist, homophobe and sexist?

A CCHQ spokesperson responded:

George Stoakley has been suspended and an investigation is underway.

With the ballot taking place a week from now, it appears the Tories will be one candidate down in South Cambridgeshire, although Mr Stoakley may still stand as an independent.
