Labour Party for losing a great MP Chris Williamson
It’s such a difficult choice, so many idiotic statements to choose from, but perhaps both James (not-so-clever) Cleverly AND Jo Swinson deserve a mention as they have both made entirely false allegations that there is a big problem with antisemitism in the Labour party and that Jeremy Corbyn is somehow at fault in that, all of which can very easily be disproved by a simple analysis of evidence to the contrary. I don’t know if Cleverly and Swinson are idiots or if they take us for idiots. But then of course there is bonkers Boris, Upper Class Twit of the year, who doesn’t even have to try to be a an absolute clown at any point in time and under any circumstances, election campaign or otherwise.

Three biggest mistakes coming to mind so far are all by the Conservative party:
1)The Grenfel gaffe – victims of a tragic fire, essentially caused by inadequate fire safety regulation, lacked “common sense”, doubled down by another Tory MP, defending such an abhorrent comment by saying it demonstrate a high level of intelligence of the person who made the comment in the first place, and therefore that explains why he is in the position he holds;
2) The Conservative party caught spreading fake news, posting on social media a clip of an interview of their opponent, deliberately edited to make him sound like he did not answer a question that he actually & coherently answered;
3) Building their election campaign on “Britain deserves better” when they’ve been in power for the last 9 year, clearly not realising that such a statement is in fact a criticism of themselves.
Sadly, I fear that it’s the Labour NEC’s failure to endorse Chris Williamson.

Agreed Jed. I was wondering what happened to the army over the last couple of days, there’s supposedly thousands of troops on standby to prevent riots & looting if and when Brexit ever happens, but nowhere to be seen when sandbags needed to be distributed, river banks needed shoring up, people need rescuing or evacuating, whilst much of Yorkshire and Derbyshire was deluged. And who turns up? Boris with a mop.

Left-field, but I’m calling the Green Party for joining the Best for Britain shenanigans. Everything they have worked for should scream that the next five years are the absolute last chance to change our ways as a nation and a global community to prevent mass extinction. The likelihood of another inconclusive result would surely also put PR back on the agenda after an election where they could poll well. Yet they have been suckered into dropping dozens of candidates to make way for pro-fracking, pro-status quo Lib Dems in the faint hope of picking up a seat or two at the expense of sympathetic Labour MPs like Thangam. A ridiculous waste of millions of people’s second-choice party.
