Therese Coffey can’t be bothered to ensure her inquiry is independent

Last Updated: December 16, 2022By Tags: , , , , , ,

It’s not just the corruption, here – it’s the indifference.

The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs is holding an inquiry into the deaths of crabs after raw sewage was pumped into their habitats by permission of the Tory government.

This is harmful not only to the environment but also to local industry, apparently.

Environment Secretary Therese Coffey was challenged to provide assurances that the inquiry would be independent – and couldn’t be bothered.

It’s important because this is the result of a government decision and it is only natural to fear a whitewash if everybody on the inquiry is a government stooge.

But Coffey simply refused to care. She had appointed an adviser and they will deal with all the fiddling details; it’s nothing to do with her.

Way to wash your hands of the responsibility that goes with your job, Therese!

(Perhaps she had some karaoke she wanted to do instead.)

This is the same lazy, useless person that has denied the Warm Home Discount to many thousands of Disabled People (check the facts).
Look at the consultancy document and it clearly states that although aware of the evidence that Disabled use more Energy due to inactivity they have chosen to ignore that fact and deny them the £150 forever.
This loathesome creature should never be allowed to be within a thousand miles of Government decision making.

Therese Coffey believes that being paid a huge salary for the fake job of Environment Secretary means she doesn’t have to undertake any work whatsoever! The arrogance and contempt being uttered by these fascist tories is astounding! All the boy and girl fascist tory ministers are being paid huge salaries and they are all claiming ‘not my problem guv!’

So who are the real ‘scroungers busily stealing our public money?’ Why it is Therese Coffey and her fellow fascist tory ministers who are all enacting their collective belief being paid a huge salary for doing zero work is fine because they are fascist tories!
