Which political party wants to boost investment in goods for the poor? If you can find one, that's where your vote should go.

Which political party wants to boost investment in goods for the poor?

Here’s a good question: which political party wants to boost investment in goods for the poor?

Gary Stevenson has hit an important nail on the head here, so watch his video clip to the end:

He’s right. Capitalism goes where the money is. That’s why it’s up to wealthy philanthropists to help the poverty-stricken people of sub-Saharan Africa (or wherever); it’s not worth the investment for rich speculators.

That’s why the UK economy is increasingly geared towards luxury goods for the rich – the rest of us don’t have enough cash to make it worthwhile investing in goods that will improve our lives and/or livelihoods.

This situation will only get worse if it is left as it is, and the only people who can change it are our MPs.

They can use taxation to redistribute wealth, making it more attractive to invest in goods and services for people who have less now.

So the question is: which political party is offering this kind of realistic change in the UK’s general election on July 4?

Is it the Labour Party, as one might expect? No.

Is it the Conservatives – which would be a surprise? No.

The Liberal Democrats? No.

Who, then?
