Nigel Farage clearly doesn’t want the student vote

Nigel Farage clearly doesn’t want the student vote, considering what he has said about them.

The Reform UK figurehead, who will be rejected by the electorate of Clacton on July 4 if there’s any justice, has said university tuition should be free – for everyone except those studying creative subjects.

He told ITV News:

“I wouldn’t charge anyone tuition fees at university if they were studying science, technology, engineering, medicine or maths.

“For the rest, folks, too many of you are going university. You’re coming out with massive debt wrapped around your necks.

“You’d have been better off learning trades and skills and very quickly earning real dough.”

The message is clear: if you study a subject that will make you useful to the right-wing exploiters who subsidise his company-that-pretends-to-be-a-political-party, he would give you a boost.

But if you follow your instincts and go where you want, he’ll penalise you.

His stance has earned derision from luminaries including Professor Alice Roberts, here:

And, let’s face it, he deserves a dose of student-style humour to put him in his place. Like this:

The caption on the images from ‘Grumpy Skeletor’ states: “Nigel Farage popped round last night and wouldn’t stop crying about not getting the Brexit he wanted. At least I think that’s what he was on about – I was too busy waiting to see if he noticed that I’d served him up a glass of Beast Man’s piss.”
