Chronically-ill Glenn Harris used electric saw to commit suicide
No doubt the DWP will say it is “irresponsible” to equate this death with this gentleman’s fear that, burdened as he was with lupus, he would lose his benefits.
A DAD … took his own life with an electric saw after he feared his benefits would be cut, an inquest heard.
Father-of-two Glenn Harris, 55, suffered from health problems and worried about how possible changes to his benefits would affect him.
Mrs Harris told the inquest her former husband lost a sister two weeks before his own death and was already grieving the deaths of his mother and another sister in December 2014.
She added: “He was panicking about these benefit letters”.
Coroner Paul Kelly recorded a suicide verdict.

What do you expect from the DWP? I read of the defence of those who work in the DWP because they are only doing as they are told but if these people had any principals at all they would refuse to work for such a department that treats the citizens of this country with such contempt…They should remember that what goes around comes around and it won’t be the minister who ends up taking the flak in the future it will be those who worked in the department.The jobs and pensions of those working in this hell hole will be sacrificed on the funeral pyre of their master IDS….his time is coming real soon and he is packed ready to make a quick getaway.

Yet another death thanks to the dwp or I should say thanks to ids and his crew why is he treating people so appalingly this really needs to stop I’m so glad I have my gp to help me as they were talking about cutting my benefits and they sent me to a back to work programme or Wrag as they call it and iv a number of serious health issues and mental health to iv nearly died twice then they sent me to see 2 health assessors a dietician and a psychiatrist and tried to send me to see another psychiatrist my gp got on the phone and bombed them and he referred me to a proper psychiatrists in a proper hospital also to a proper dietician and I already have my own consultants to assess my health my gp also said that he will not allow me to sign of sick and the final word will lie with him if they even touch my sick pay me and my gp will have them in court I may be ill but I’m not vulnerable I fully understand what they are trying to do to me get me to take the worst job even though I’m ill or stop my sick pay as they feel I’m vulnerable well I will not take any job or accept them stopping my sick pay il fight them in court

The rat’s time will come the sooner the better, he can’t hide forever behind his security team, who know,s maybe one of them will do humanity a favour and do the kind deed on our behalf no doubt they carry the right kit.
F***ing tragic and disgraceful this is and what the tories are getting away with, they’ve all got so many people’s blood on their hands, the police should grow a spine and arrest them all, they’ve shafted them too, so why should they stay loyal, if there was any justice in the world, the tories should be struck down with severe illnesses and receive no help from anyone and see how it feels to be unhelped and uncared for! My condolences to his family, may he rest in peace.
