ITV put this footage out on ‘X’ earlier today but the full report is more illuminating with the background information it provides:

It really puts into context the fuss Israel’s spokespeople were making of 24(?) deaths of IDF troops earlier in the week, doesn’t it?

The report shows that Israeli troops have shot people who were using the white flag before – and that IDF officers have claimed they have made it clear that their troops should think before shooting.

But against that, we should balance the footage we’ve seen of Jewish people from other countries travelling to Israel, and making it clear that their only interest is in murdering Palestinians.

It seems to This Writer that those people are going to do what they want, no matter what IDF officers say.

In any event, the photographic evidence is overwhelming: it is a clear war crime, and the latest in a series.

This Writer now wants to know why the UK’s support for Israel has not been halted, not to be resumed until that country’s cheerleaders in the Conservative – and Labour – Party can explain why it should be.
