Whistleblower explains how DWP sets up ‘gullible’ claimants for sanctions and closed claims

NOTE: It has been brought to This Writer’s attention that the video on which this article is based is six years old. The person who posted it on the social media neglected to mention this fact. I’m keeping the article up as it is still relevant today – but it also stands as a warning to myself and others that we all need to check sources.

The Department for Work and Pensions office in London.

If anybody still believes the system of benefit sanctions is intended only to weed out the so-called “shirkers” and “scroungers”, watch this – it’s the latest evidence that the Department for Work and Pensions is actively targeting people who deserve state social security payments for sanction and the unfair closure of their claims:

We all know this is going on but the DWP continues to deny it, in the fact of the evidence.

When a Labour government is finally returned to Parliament, the DWP’s offices in Caxton House and elsewhere will need to be entered and files seized, before they can destroy the evidence and hide the names of those who are involved.

We need this to come out at election time and challenge the Tories to deny it.

I also feel we have start changing the language we use to describe claimants, they are not customers. Neo-Liberal theology creeps into every crevice in society and distorts the reality.

So whats the purpose of putting this up. No one really cares other than dedicated socially responsible people. They are few in numbers. So get an electable labour leadership installed and get them power. That will do it. The first Momentum MP now without whip trouble elsewhere and I wonder who is to blame. Surely not momentum with their bully boy tactics. We don’t need a party within a party. We do not need socialism as momentum preaches.

Why is censorship in operation here. This means you don’t agree with a person you don’t post it. Or is this site just to pat each other on the back. C’mon.

There is no censorship in operation here. Have you received a message, saying your comment has been marked as spam or trashed? No.
Please do not make false accusations.

Yes look at the DWP files but never forget that these sanctions are imposed by a minister in government and they should also be held to account for the murder of those who have died because of their cruelty.

If only you could get on Universal Credit in the first place. I applied something like the 9th October. Since then someone contacted a family member asked for me, even though I don’t live with them. Asked for me to answer the phone, when I repeatedly told them I were deaf and could not use one. They said they would book a room for an appointment, when the relative asked what is was and when they said it was confidential. When I e-mailed the DEA in my local branch. He said he would find out when this appointment was and what it was about. But hen he never did anything after that. Oh I had a letter through the post, saying they had asked me for evidence, this was the first point of contact I had from officials of the DWP. It said if you want to know what evidence, ring this number. I just completely give up. All I wanted was specialized help to get into work, and my being deaf hinders that. And so I can stop relying on relatives and be independent. But no, supposed to put on one of their specialized work programs to, suppose to be contacted next month. However we shall see. I have done all I can. The whole outfit is improperly run and shoddy. and it is failing so many people.

Unless I’m getting mixed up, you state that this is the latest evidence, but when I checked this out for myself, the video turned out to be part of a Guardian article from 2011??? – six years ago?
I’m not saying it’s not still relevant (of course it is), I’m just pointing out, that if I’m right, it’s not exactly the ‘latest’ evidence?

It turns out you’re right – this was not mentioned by the person who posted it originally.
VERY annoying, even though the information is still accurate.
      Thanks for pointing it out.

The fact that this is 6 years old just shows that the department of witless pigs have had time to practice this evil policy. I am a victim of this and they managed to steal my pension by leading me down a path that was cleverly planned. When I complained the subhuman creature actually giggled as she said ” it was all your choice Even if it was Hobson’s choice” where do they find these monsters? Do they not realise that the worn can turn and that they may even face prison?
