Green Party could oust big-name ‘Big Two’ politicians in general election

This should be worrying for Keir Starmer’s version of the Labour Party:

Thangam Debbonaire is a very high-profile Labour MP, appearing very often on our television screens. If she can be shifted from her Parliamentary seat by the Green Party, then there are very few other MPs – Labour or Tory – who can’t.

The Greens are proposing a series of policies like the following, which seem to be meeting with public approval:

It’s not a new idea – Jeremy Corbyn proposed a “maximum wage” law when he was leader of the Labour Party, years ago.

I sincerely hope that Sunak’s tory criminal cartel and Starmer’s racist fake labour, tinpot tory, Judas party both fail miserably at the next general election….Otherwise, nothing will change, plus we will lose our NHS….

And big hopes in Birkenhead Wirral where the Greens now have fourteen councillors. A sitting Starmer MP has been brought in to replace the consistent and principled Mick Whitley. Green candidate Jo Green (one of those councillors) was expelled from Labour for having principles.

The Greens would have wiped out the state pension but still charged workers National Insurance but not the boss. No mention of the huge tax break in National Insurance to the top waged / rich, by them only paying 2 per cent, whilst working / middle class paying 10 per cent on all or majority of wages. Same with low income self employed lowered now for low profit from 9 to 8 per cent, but once earning serious profit only pay 2 per cent on all further wealth.

No mention by The Greens of any policies for the top voters by age group of the Grey Vote.

Seeking volunteer admin please to bring into existence a new political party with manifesto fully published, from policies gained from the public all ages and the Grey Vote, to add on the basis of Corbyn’s manifesto. Contact via website please

The rich pay two per cent on earnings above the bracket at which EVERYBODY pays 10 per cent. They don’t pay only two per cent on all their earnings.

Citation needed for your claims about the state pension and what you mean by “policies for the top voters by age group of the Grey Vote”.

As a paid-up Labour Party member, I would LOVE it if the Greens won a seat in Bristol. If I lived there I would throw myself into the Green campaign.
But I live in a Tory seat where ,this time, Labour might be in with a chance. I don,t think the Greens or Lib Dems or anybody else has much hope.
The Labour candidate is a Starmer clone with even less charisma than the Kiddie Starver.
So, on the grounds that ANYBODY not a Tory or to their Right, would be a sign that the people want a change , I will vote Labour in this constituency. Not sure if I can summon up much enthusiasm to actually help the Labour campaign, though.
I think we can agree that an actual Starmer government won t make anything like the kind of changes we need.
So our power will come from campaigning outside the corrupt Parliamentary system. Just like now, regardless of who is elected. Unless the Tories get back in. THEN we would really struggle as they will have public permission to carry on. If Labour get in at least it will give public approval for change even though that change won t come from the Starmer Party.

What are the Labour policies that you think will help you over the next five years, for which you will be voting in support?

Are there any other candidates with BETTER policies? If so, you should be voting for them. In fact, it would be your democratic duty to vote for them.

Stop using your vote as some sort of tribal “team support” badge.
